Well, time to face the truth ladies. Most of the men are after a hot body and not a charming face. So, ladies put down your make up kit and hit the gym!
New research reveals that men in a short term relationship are more interested in a woman’s body. A woman’s body discloses more insight into her immediate baby-making potential than her face. Although the preference for body over face had not been looked into, a thought did surface whether bodily attractiveness conveyed something different than the attractiveness of a face.
A Woman’s Face
The face of a woman can predict the number of years of baby-making she has ahead of her. Smooth and supple face indicates youth while a wrinkled one shows the end of the road. A 17-year-old girl is not at the peak of her fertility but she is at the peak of her reproductive potential.
A Woman’s Body
The female body has to offer different fertility clues. A curvy woman is highly desirable for men as a short-term mate since there’s sufficient evidence she’s a fertile. Men zero in on these fertile cues, which are more focused in a woman’s body.
Blame it on the principle of natural selection but men still have this inclination to become more interested in a woman’s body even if they don’t want to get her pregnant. While only men, showed a considerable partiality for body vs. face when seeking short-term partners, the women were found to be more interested in a man’s face for both short- or long-term relationships.

Mothers-in-law are often portrayed as an overbearing and meddling person. But do we stop and ponder over what actually they are trying to communicate to us?
Have you ever thought how frightening it would be if you’re a mother of a son and soon going to lose him to a woman who is to be his wife? Most often these relations become frosty and distant as so many thoughts are left unspoken.
Read on to know what all the MIL’s would actually like to tell their daughters-in-law if they had the chance:
Give Me Time to Know You
Do give the relationship some time to develop, instead of just writing her off just because she is a mother in law. It’s not just you; your mother-in-law also needs time to accept you in her life.
Don’t Avoid Me
Talk to her and ask her to share her experiences over raising kids or running the house. Even if you want to do things your way, there is no harm in sharing her bits of wisdom.
Don’t Drag Me in Always
Getting your MIL involved in your little arguments is not a good idea. It would be awkward for her to take sides.
I Am Not a Threat
A close bond between your husband and his mom should not be viewed as a threat. You will be a mother too sooner or later. See your husband’s bond with his mom as a positive quality in your husband.
Don’t Make Your Life Revolve Around My Son
If you spend some time away from his son, indulging in your hobbies or spending time with your female friends, you will be happier. This will impose less pressure on your spouse and your marriage.
Be Brave!
Believe it or not, she is always thinking about you too as a woman and would not like her son to treat you as a less-than-equal partner.
Be Private About Your Private Life
If you and your MIL get along very well, well, its just wonderful! But respect your boundaries as well as hers. Your mother in law would not be interested to know the gory details of your personal life.
Listen to what your MIL is trying to tell all these years. Perhaps it’s still not too late to mend the fences.

Even men with impotence generally have a normal sex drive. Some men, as they get older do find a decrease on their interest in sex. However, there are a very few who have never experienced any sexual desire in their lives.
Low sex drive should not be confused with erectile dysfunction and it is less common. Most men with low sex drive are able to achieve erections, but have lost the longing to have sex. Well, this lack of desire in men can have either a physical or psychological origin.
Physical causes
A major cause is alcoholism and use of drugs such as cocaine, which can lead to low libido. Obesity, quite common in men can also be the cause. Anaemia, though unusual has also been found to be the culprit in some cases. Some other physical causes behind low sex drive in men are low testosterone level or any major disease such as diabetes. Some prescribed drugs – particularly used for prostate problems can also lead to this condition.
Psychological causes
Stress and depression, which is very common in today’s fast paced life often can lower the libido in men. Over work too can be the cause. Any hang-ups from childhood are known to affect a man psychologically. Sometimes a man may show signs of latent homosexuality. In other cases, serious relationship problems with the partner too have known to be the root cause.
What should be done in such cases? Well, the problem can be cured as all the above reasons for lack of libido respond well to therapy. Just start by visiting a doctor. If your doctor can’t help, he or she can refer you to a specialist.
